Skiing To Courmayeur Italy

We did another day ski tour starting from the top of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, with the goal of skiing to Courmayeur, Italy for lunch. At one point during the downhill, we walked down steep stairs over a challenging section. We had a lovely lunch at a restaurant in the mid-station of the Courmayeur Ski Resort. Italian mid-station restaurants are much different than those in the US: there were white table cloths, great red wine and food, and of course, great espresso. While waiting for the bus back to Chamonix we enjoyed having drinks from the bus station bar.
