Costa Rica 2024

In December 2024, I did a seven-day wildlife photo tour of Costa Rica with Aaron's Photo Tours (https://aaronstours.com). Our small, 10-person group went to three different provinces in interior Costa Rica, which encompassed the active Arenal Volcano, tropical rain forests, and the higher elevation cloud forests. Co-leads Aaron Baggenstos and Johan Chaves took us to locations with fantastic photographic opportunities of Costa Rica's diverse bird species including hummingbirds, toucans, tanagers, and the famed Resplendent Quetzal. We were also able to capture images of nectar bats, red eyed and poison dart frogs, and sloths.
