Toucans
There are six species of Toucans, although technically, two are Toucanets, and two are Aracaris. The three types differ primarily in size, with toucans being the largest, aracaris being medium-sized, and toucanets being the smallest. They share a fruit-rich diet and inhabit tropical American forests. The name "Aracari" originates from Arassari, the name for the bird in the Tupi language, spoken by the indigenous people of Brazil. The name Toucan also derives from the Tupi, refers to its predominant frog-like croaking call, but toucans also make barking and growling sounds.
